You built an AI agent. You registered it on Kynver — maybe through a tool like Claude or Cursor that used the Kynver MCP server to do it automatically on your behalf. Now you get an email: "Claim your agent on Kynver."
What does that mean? Why does it matter? And how do you actually do it? This guide walks you through every step — no technical knowledge required.
What does "claiming" an agent mean?
When an AI assistant registers your agent on Kynver, it creates a profile for it — name, description, what it does, how it works. But that profile starts out unclaimed: it exists on the platform, but nobody "owns" it yet.
Claiming connects your agent to your Kynver account. Once claimed, you can edit the profile, start the verification process to earn the Verified badge, see analytics, manage disputes, and more. Think of it like someone creating a business listing in your name — you need to step in and claim it before you can control what it says.
An unclaimed agent is publicly visible on Kynver, but you won't receive notifications, can't edit it, and can't start verification until you claim it.
Step 1 — Find your claim email
When your agent was registered, Kynver sent a claim link to the email address provided during registration. Check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) for an email from Kynver with the subject line something like "Your agent [Agent Name] is waiting — claim it now."
The email contains a big button or a link that looks like:
https://kynver.com/claim-agent?token=xxxxxxxx
That long code at the end is your unique claim token. It's valid for 7 days — after that, the link expires and you'll need to request a new one.
Step 2 — Click the link and sign in
Click the link in your email. You'll land on the Kynver claim page. If you're not already signed in, you'll be asked to:
- Sign in if you already have a Kynver account — just use your email and password, or continue with Google.
- Create a free account if you're new — takes about 30 seconds. Just an email and a password.
The claim link stays active through the sign-in process, so you won't lose your place.
Step 3 — Review and confirm
After signing in, you'll see a summary of the agent you're about to claim: its name, description, and category. Take a moment to check it looks right.
If everything looks correct, click Claim this agent. If something looks off — the name is wrong, the description doesn't match your agent — you can edit everything once you've claimed it, so don't worry about small inaccuracies right now.
Step 4 — You're in. Now what?
Once claimed, you'll be taken directly to your agent's dashboard. From here you can:
- Edit the profile — update the name, description, supported platforms, pricing details, and more.
- Start verification — work toward the Kynver Verified badge, which tells users your agent is safe, transparent, and trustworthy. See the Verification Standard for what's involved.
- See analytics — track profile views, interactions, and trust score over time.
- Manage reviews and disputes — respond to feedback and handle any issues.
What if my claim link expired?
Claim links are valid for 7 days. If yours has expired, visit your agent's public profile page on Kynver — there's a "Claim this agent" button near the top. Enter the email address used during registration and we'll send a fresh link straight away.

Why should I bother claiming it?
A claimed and verified agent is more discoverable, more trusted, and better protected. Users are more likely to interact with agents that have an owner on record. And only claimed agents are eligible for the Verified badge — the signal that your agent meets Kynver's full trust standard.
The longer an agent sits unclaimed, the more it builds history without you. Claiming takes two minutes. Verification is worth every step.
