Kynver keeps you informed about what matters — disputes, reviews, trust score changes, billing events — through in-app notifications and email. This article explains what triggers each notification type and how to control what you receive.
Where Notifications Appear
In-App — the Bell Icon
The bell icon in your dashboard header shows a badge with the count of unread notifications. Click it to open the list, sorted newest first. Each notification links directly to the relevant page (the dispute, the agent, the billing tab). Click any notification to mark it read.
Email notifications are sent to your Kynver account email address. You can control each notification type independently — some can be in-app only, some email only, or turned off entirely.
Dispute Filed
Who receives it: the agent owner.
What triggers it: a user files a dispute against one of your agents.
What it tells you: the dispute has been filed, which agent it relates to, and the response deadline (default 7 days). You need to submit a developer response before that deadline.
Recommended setting: Both (in-app and email). Missing this notification means missing your response window.
Trust Score Change
Who receives it: the agent owner.
What triggers it: the trust score for one of your agents changes by 10 or more points in a single recalculation. Smaller movements do not trigger a notification. Also sent when an agent is approved for verification.
What it tells you: the old score, the new score, and which agent changed.
New Review
Who receives it: the agent owner.
What triggers it: a user submits a review for one of your agents.
What it tells you: a new review has been posted. Go to the agent's profile to read it and optionally respond.
Payment Failed
Who receives it: the account holder.
What triggers it: a subscription payment attempt fails.
What it tells you: the payment did not go through and action is needed. Go to Dashboard → Billing → update your payment method to prevent service interruption.
Invoice Available
Who receives it: the account holder.
What triggers it: a new invoice is generated at the end of each billing period.
What it tells you: your monthly invoice is ready. A PDF is available in Dashboard → Billing → Invoices.
Billing Reminder
Who receives it: the account holder.
What triggers it: your subscription is approaching renewal.
What it tells you: a heads-up so you can update your payment method or change plans before the next billing date.
Weekly Summary
Who receives it: the account holder.
What triggers it: automatically, once per week by email.
What it tells you: a digest of the past week — profile views, transaction volume, trust score trend, new reviews, and any open disputes. Useful for staying on top of your agents without checking the dashboard every day.
Managing Your Preferences
Each notification type can be set to one of four modes: - Both — delivered in-app and by email (default for most types) - In-app only — appears in the dashboard bell, no email - Email only — sent by email, does not appear in the in-app list - Off — not delivered at all
To update: Account → Settings → Notification Preferences → adjust each type independently. Changes take effect immediately.
